There are many physical, psychological, and social disorders that can cause a couple to loose there sexual health. I will go over more on that later. But right now I want to discuss the senate focus exercises. These are exercises in touch, talking, and gazing that bring a couple back to the bonding stage. Sometimes this is necessary to rekindle a sexual relationship that has faded due to all the pressures in life. Therapists will often bring in a surrogate to help instruct and guide the couple thru these very successful exercises. Masters and Johnson perfected these practices in there own bedroom some 30 yrs ago, and they are still being used today. Some think they adopted them from the tantra scriptures, which are the Hindu map of spirituality, medicine and love. These pages are over 4000 yrs old, I often rely on these pages for guidance.. The couples are sometimes coached by a pair of surrogates or counselors; this is called a co-operative group. The couple starts out
Discussing openly all aspects of what gives them pleasure, one at a time, and then later practicing these acts. Before any of this can take place and full medical exam is done on both of the partners to rule out any physical or medication issues that may be causing the difficulties. Just sitting and looking into each others eyes, talking openly, and touching non genital areas is enough for the first session. This surprisingly for most causes a great amount of arousal. And is a good sign that these difficulties are temporary. And this in its self is a good indication for the couple that they are on the road to recovering their sexual life together.
People are always saying that we only need food and shelter to live. I believe this to be wrong. A person may have both and still wither away from a lack of self confidence. A man that no longer feels like a man, or feels he can function as a man can have both food and shelter and still waste away.
I had a dog that had puppies and we gave one, very healthy happy pup to a pet store. They gave him everything he needed to survive, food, water, and a blanket, and placed him in a cage. They gave him everything except the most important... love. After spending all that time in the cage, with no one loving him or playing with him, he died. I was so angry, and it is not a happy story, but it proves a point. People need interaction, and love to build our sense of self worth. With out which we would die.
I will continue with the second session of the senate focus exercises in a few days. Please make sure to check back.. Ciao for now
