All the
strife and problems that our society face today are nothing more than the
process of learning, an illusion, and the manifestation of the singular ego.
There is a base belief that there is safety in numbers. In meaning, people have
the basic instinct to gather in masses, to believe as we all believe. It is in
this instinct that lies the very truth of our nature. It
implies a growing attempt to live out this knowledge and bring about the
growing realization that there is a secret spirit, a divine reality, in which
we are all one. It is our pure existence and pure potentiality
that reaches for the final thought, that we are as one as we are separate. The one is never really one,
and never could be. It was never a singular consciousness from the beginning,
we have always been a collective state, and all else was that of the illusion.
This is why death, suffering, and hateful acts upon all, not just humanity,
bring us great pain and sadness. Humanity is struggling to find its roots,
grasping for answers. The answers are here now, but we have not yet trained our
minds to hear or our hearts to see.
There must be the realization by the individual that only in
the life of his fellowmen is his own life complete. Humanity must develop not merely a fellowship with its
own, but a dominant sense of unity and commonalty with all life. Only when he
is aware of all, not merely as other beings but as parts of himself, will we
enter into a spiritual completeness. It is my belief this would create a collective
psychological state not dependent upon any intellectual or outward uniformity
and compel a oneness of life not bound up with its mechanical means of
unification or forced belief systems.
We must harness the duality of life in
general and stop the destruction and selfish use of the mind, body and spirit
of all living beings before the illusion can be dispelled. The truth
behind the illusion is ever pressing towards the hour when it may become
reality. This would be the
first step for a higher type of human existence and the beginning of the end of human suffering. |
